We want a food system that functions like a food forest.

A food forest is a self-sustaining organism, a living network where everything is interconnected. Its resilience and abundance come from this unity, layers of interdependent entities, all working together in the same space.

Each layer within this system supports the next. That’s the kind of intelligence that should be embedded in our food system's digital infrastructure. But right now, the digital layer of the industry is fragmented and to some capacity missing.

What We're Building

The missing layers of our food system

We’re mapping the data behind sourcing to create a digital infrastructure that mirrors the way the food industry behaves offline by converting fragmented information into structured, searchable pathways.

Live

Focus: North America

Operational Layer

The foundational layer needed to truly make intelligence, context, or predictions possible.

We’re structuring company data across the food system, by capabilities, certifications, product catalogs, facility types, etc so the ecosystem can be searched, mapped, and built on top of.

Q4 2025

Focus: Industry Wide

Contextual Layer

Integrating context to each entity, tying together what they offer, who they’ve worked with, and how they relate to other entities in the system.

A database that connects categories, capabilities, processes, ingredients, packaging formats, and more, so the database thinks in systems, not in silos.

2026

Focus: World Wide

Geo Layer

Visualize distance to ports, optimal routes, weather patterns and localized supply streams and mapping partners by their bioregions and watersheds.

2026

Focus: Specific Verticals

Circular Layer

Mapping processors, producers and buyers for circular materials upstream and down stream, to create a deep database of upcyclable ingredients, products and players.

What We're Not Building

We’re mapping the missing layers of our food system, operational, relational, circular, and ecological.

Here's what we're not building, on purpose.

Not another generalist AI tool. AI is only as good as the data it built on. Our is specific to food & beverage, and grounded in structured, meaningful context.

Not a dashboard you have to learn. No 17-tab systems. No analytics for analytics sake. Just what you need to search, find and act.

Not a marketplace directory. We're not listing logos or throwing you into a sea of irrelevant vendors. This isn't about quantity, it's about structure, signal and relevance.

Not coorporate Saas. We're not locking you into a platform and overhauling your systems. We're built ready-made for the scrappy, resourceful, brilliant operators doing the real work.

Systems don’t change until the infrastructure does.

Our initial goal is to make sourcing more intelligent, regional, and resilient by activating the connective tissue our food systems are missing. Long term, we know the most advanced systems in the future will not just link people to vendors,

but link people and machines to the living planet, an integrated loop that regenerates rather than extracts. We aim to be a part of the wave of solutions essential to shaping that future.
